Gentle Brutality

Gentle Brutality is an opera-performance that addresses the homelessness of marginalized beings. As a continuation of the inquiry begun in Dark Twisted Mind, this work examines the dynamics between individuals and systemic structures, staging the affective and physical aftermaths of dispossession.

The work unfolds through choreographed movement, material interaction, spatial composition, and original music. Concept, text, composition, choreography, and direction by Dan Su. Produced in collaboration with HfS Berlin.
