Gentle Brutality

An opera-performance that addresses the homelessness of marginalized beings. As a continuation of the inquiry begun in Dark Twisted Mind, this work examines the dynamics between individuals and systemic structures, staging the affective and physical aftermaths of dispossession, following three major movements of the play.

The work unfolds through choreography of metal machine system, material interaction, spatial composition, and original music, with concept, text, composition, choreography, and direction by Dan Su. Produced at HfS Berlin.
